Identification: 6½-9½′ (2-3 m) high, rarely up to 20′ (6 m).
May have some branches. Dead leaves cover a portion of the trunk(s).
Leaf rosettes contain about 30 bluish-green leaves, each up to 2′ (65 cm) × 2½″ (7 cm).
Leaf edges have reddish brown teeth. Flower stalks heavily branched, each 6-8″ (15-20 cm) long. Scarlet or pale pink.
