Hickey’s Tree Clubmoss
Hickey’s tree clubmoss is a native of northeastern North America.
Identification: This club moss reaches up to 6" (15 cm) in height, branching several times, looking like a tiny tree. Each branch is uniformly covered with many leaves up to ¼" (6.3 mm) long. Upward-pointing cone-like structures called strobili, ¼-2½" (8.4-63 mm) long, often appear on top.
