About plant names...

There are an alarming number of variations of Ericameria nauseosa. I couldn’t find detailed information necessary to make a positive ID, so this ID is based solely on the fact that this variant is found in Oregon.

Identification: Plants are shrubs reaching up to 9' (2.7 m). Leaves are long and narrow, 2½" (6.3 cm) × ⅛" (3.2 mm), gray green, covered with felt-like fine hairs. Flowers are yellow, in roundish, dense clusters.
