This fuchsia is a cultivated variety that does not occur in the wild.

Identification: You know you’re in trouble when you look up a plant and your own web site is the only one that lists it. Since I saw this at a botanical gardens, I’m reasonably sure that is what it is called. Cultivated varieties exist in such profusion that they are difficult to track.
