About plant names...

Hairy bush-clover is native to the eastern United States. It prefers dry open sandy ground, such as fields, roadsides, and riverbanks, and are found in oak or oak-hickory forests.

Plants: 20-71" (50-180 cm) high. Stems and leaf surfaces are very hairy.

Leaves: alternate, in groups of 3 leaflets. Each leaflet is ½-1½" (1.3-3.8 cm) long, on short hairy stems.

Flowers: White, with violet veins. They appear on multiple short flower spikes ½-1½" (1.3-3.8 cm) long. Flowers appear from July to November.

Fruits: Seeds are ⅛-¼" (4-7 mm) long, and teardrop-shaped.
